MKAY I HATE KEPPLER NOW.

And WHY does Cath continue to go out to eat with him? She doesn't do that with Grissom...ugh.

Rule Numero Uno - You dont betray the people you work with, especially when they trust you with their lives, even if said deception was only short-lived. Nick isnt gonna let that one go, no way.

I hope Keppler becomes the crime-scene-in-a-box. They need to wrap him and his fakey mysterious ass real fast. (Dont tell me what's up with him, I dont want spoilers.) But MAN, he makes me so frustrated. He's so unprofessional. AJHFJSDHFIHSDI.

GRISSOM!!! COME BACK!!! YOU'RE TWO EPI'S TOO LATE ALREADY!!!

and I thought the cocoon was kindof cute. Its so Grissom.

Except she has gone out to eat with Grissom and has gone by his house uninvited on at least two occassions.

The relationship between Keppler and Grissom really isn't even that comparable. Grissom is Catherine's supervisor. Keppler is Catherine's subordinate. The power dynamics should be different and I have no idea what to make of it. Should there not be at least one comment like "Well, if this goes wrong, I'm your boss and my ass is on the line" or something like that?

I'm of GRISSOM COME BACK! and ECKLIE YOU JACKASS FOR HIRING SOMEONE! THEY DID NOT NEED SOME ONE!

Oh well, ok.

Yeah, I wish they would make it clear that she's his superior, because especially after last night, it's not clear at all, because everyone seems to defer to him, not to her, and that's just wrong.

I got the impression that Greg, Sara, Nick, Warrick were more like possible IAB person, some one who can't be trusted. His being close to Catherine and talking to Brass adds to it. Catherine and Brass seemed to be playing politic sort of with the new guy, willing to let him hang because of that. THAT bothers me. Especially as it seems to show a bad side of Catherine, unwillingness to cover for her people. That stands in contradiction to what she said about protecting her people.

Did they mention in the previous episode what level CSI he came in as?

Yeah, the easy way he has with Brass and Cath especially bothers me. It's like he instantly had clout over everyone who was already there, and just because he was the new guy from somewhere else. PA, right?

Honestly, I dont remember if they said or not. He just showed up that night to help Cath clear the scene. Someone else might know...

And he isn't even going to stick on that shift. He is supposed to transfer to days when Grissom gets back.

When Sara came on, Catherine showed less deference to the new person... and Sara wasn't necessarily asking her to do stuff that involved her decieving her co-workers. There was more paranoia from Catherine and others, reminding themselves who Sophia really worked for. As such, the characterization is a bit out of left field. Gah.
