yea im aware. and i know we were supposed to connect it to butterflied. but even though i know it's not random... it was just awkward to me.

LOL. that's what has me shaking my head. because in one sense it's a good present because we all get the significance as the audience. but in terms of his relationship to sara... to send a cocoon on a stick... man, what a shitty gift of reassurance.

What makes it even more baffling is Sara looked confused opening it. She looked like she had no clue what was going on, was expecting something more. It leaves me wondering if they had any contact where Grissom prepared her for that or had ever called her? And it seems like, since she was just coming in, she could have picked up a phone to call and at least leave a message on Grissom's phone with a "What the heck?" Becayse ARG!
