Oh, take me back to the start . . .

So I rewatched the pilot episode tonight. Hee, nothing like going all the way back to the beginning. Here are a few thoughts:

-Grissom has a lot more Billy in him, I think, at the begnning. It's cute, but I also really like the Grissom we have now.
-It's kinda interesting to see how the writers weren't exactly sure where they were taking the characters. All shows start off this way, and I love to see them evolve.
-Brass was such as ass in the beginning. I hated him when I first started watching the show. I love him now
-Billy was so. Damn. Cute. Not that he isn't now. But in the pilot? Damn. When they woman lab-tech is talking to him about thier date, and then they do the close up of him asking her "Pin me against the wall?" He's just adorable. Also kinda makes you think . . .
-Warrick's hair was funny. The kids all looked so little. Greg's was funny too.
-Holly was okay, but damn, I'm SO glad we got Sara.
-Apparently Catherine has a sister. Huh. Did we ever hear about her again?
-Okay, so I get that a "trick roll" has something to do with a hooker, but what exactly does this term mean? Maybe I'm a bit slow, but I couldn't figure it out.

Okay, those are my thoughts.

A 'trick roll' is when a john/customer of a prostitute gets robbed by the prostitute. Most times the john is drugged or given excessive amounts of alcohol in order to get him to pass out, then all his money, jewelry and other valuables are taken.

Exactly, the prostitutes turn a trick on the John and then roll. Thus trick-roll.

I just watched the Pilot the other day too and I noticed how different Grissom acts...like he's a lot more comfortable around people, not like he is now. He was a cutie ;)

And yeah, whoa! I couldn't believe how nasty Brass was in the beginning! I was used to him being nice (got into the show mid-S3) so seeing that I was like @.o;;

But yeah, neat going back to see everyone and how they've evolved :)
