New watcher, old episodes

Hi all! I'm a new CSI watcher but have found forensics fascinating since studying it in fifth grade (I'm now several years past completing college) and have until recently been watching just crime documentaries. I was reluctant to try CSI previously since it ran an ep about one of my other interests and got it totally wrong. Thankfully, I've enjoyed all the other eps I've seen.

Anyway. I've been watching back eps and some current ones (I have season pass orders on all the variants, old and new) on TiVo; tonight, one of them was "Sounds of Silence" from 2001.

( And I know it's old, but it's cut anyway )

CSI game

I know this particular question was asked sometime last year but there was not a definitive answer. I am playing the second CSI computer game, Dark Motives. I am on the first crime of the game. I have played it 3 times now, the last one following an online walkthrough guide, and I still get stuck the second time I interview Leslie. It won't ask her the question about sabotaging the bike. I have put together the spring, zoomed in on the cut mark to see it is a tool mark, matched the print on the tool to her, and seen in the film where the spring was already cut before the jump. So it seems I should have everything I need to question her. Is there something I need to do to actually match the tool to the tool mark? I tried dragging the tool over the tool mark and all kinds of other combinations of moves, but still when I get her in the room, she just stares at me and no questions come up to ask her. Anyone solve that one or did everyone else throw away the game in frustration as I am tempted to do? Thanks for any help.
