Am I the only one who found Hodges answering the cell phone and talking to the mother somehow disturbing and wrong? Phones in evidence must ring all the time before family and friends and who ever else might call are notified. I don't recall anyone ever answering it (except Cath in season 1 when they are trying to find Holly Gribbs killer). Phones in houses at crime scenes ring and CSI's don't just pick them up and start talking to whoever is on the other end. I know Hodges could see it was "Mom" calling, but still. Something about that just seemed strange to me.

I definitely thought that was a little off.
I'm so weird with stuff like that, that I'll freak out in movies and be like "OMG YOU'RE LEAVING PRINTS/EPITHELIALS/ETC" or "WHY ARE YOU TOUCHING THAT WITHOUT A GLOVE??????"

But, I did almost like that he saw that it said "Mom", so he thought it was necessary to pick it up.. I guess the writers were trying to show us that Hodges isn't a heartless bastard after all.. lol
