Oh my god... The team being the ones to tell the families, it's heartbreaking. Warrick's scene just... ouch. But it was probably easier on the grandmother that it was someone that she knew.

I can't imagine being on either end of something like that.

the big comment of DOOM

She needs to kiss him already. Sheeit.

Anyways...here's my comment, I know you've all been waiting XD

Too much character development with Hodges. He's got to be the MK XD I liked it though, it's nice to have important people get development. Kindof like Draco Malfoy. Hallelujah when the writers develop people like them :)

I thought this epi was a bit disjointed. It went from one main character to the next, not so much continuity/shared light tonight like usual. Even the GSR was not as chemical as usual. Or maybe I'm just jaded since I was up until 4am last night this morning.

The scenes with Warrick and Sara and Hodges and the victims/families especially were emotional. I wanted to cry more than once!

The killer, well, I liked the development on him too. And if anyone has got that quote, about the empty eyes, I will love you. Interesting development on Sara, too, with all that. Hmmmm.

I was almost hoping for a mini scene in the purses from the trunk. They'd better wrap that before the season ends!

And does anyone know how you make a knife out of ceramic? I'd never heard of that before...*shrugs* see what CSI can teach you? :)

I DUNNO GUYS, do you just get the feeling that they're up to something? I can't put my finger on it quite...................

Hodges made my heart hurt tonight. There's just something about him.

And your first comment...I ALMOST thought they were gonna kiss when he wiped away her tear and she turned to look at him. I was like GOOOOOO GOOOOO!!! The song "kiss the girl" from the little mermaid even popped into my head. DAMN YOU GRISSOM!!!

This season is so serious. But I guess working with dead people would kind of make you serious.

loved the ending. the look on Griss' face as Sara cried. "I held his hand, just like I held hers." The heartbreak. SO GOOD.

awesome GSR episode :D

What was the name of the Senor Happy song they advertized at the end?

"Someone invaded me" from the album "I'm Sorry"

I totally recorded the episode. :>

I just didn't feel tonights like I thought I would. But that could be that I'm not really a Sara fan.

Hodges did made me sad for him. But I always feel like he takes away some good stuff from Greg. *shurgs*

Good episode. Liked the fact that Sara has been getting more time onscreen, and not because it is associated to GSR.

At the very end though, when she says: "I held his hand, just like I held hers." Was that all she said? Or did I miss her mumble something after that?

I liked it. I totally ship GSR but am glad that they keep it on the fringe... after all, I'm tuning in to watch a show about investigation, not a soap opera. I like how they casually work thier relationship into it without making it the focus of the scenes.

Having the CSIs directly impacted by the victims and the victims' families was a nice touch, since they usually don't have that kind of interaction and therefore can feel removed.

My only complaint this season is the locations... my guy is from Vegas, we spend a LOT of time there and clearly, whoever is scouting locations here in LA, isn't really being true to what Vegas really looks like... The house was way off for Vegas.

I completely agree about the relationship stuff. I love how they do it. If I wanted a soap opera, I'd watch Grey's Anatomy. But I dig the investigation stuff...with the relationships coming up every now and then.

I really liked tonights episode, but I have to say I'm a little sick of the 'Sara deals with abused women' episodes. They've been doing it since season one and I"m just a little tired of it. I guess I was just hoping for a new angle.

I felt so bad for Hodges and Warrick having to tell family members, though I was wondering why it happened that way. I kept getting the feeling that an important scene that explained why the families didn't know yet was on the cutting room floor somewhere. I know there was a casual mention of the names not being released until the families were notified, I just thought it was weird the way they did it.

Also, being a Nick and Greg shipper, I had to say cheers to seeing their on screen chemistry again. It's been far too long.

You know, aside from the GSR moment(s), this was a pretty good episode. Emotionally-driven and all that. It was almost reminiscent of classic CSI. Gosh, Warrick. ♥ And Greg. Oh, goodness, what's going on with my Greggo? Haven't been watching since the whole Fannysmackin' incident, so I'm a little lost on his goings-on.

I'm almost glad there was nothing else on at 9pm.

Am I the only one who found Hodges answering the cell phone and talking to the mother somehow disturbing and wrong? Phones in evidence must ring all the time before family and friends and who ever else might call are notified. I don't recall anyone ever answering it (except Cath in season 1 when they are trying to find Holly Gribbs killer). Phones in houses at crime scenes ring and CSI's don't just pick them up and start talking to whoever is on the other end. I know Hodges could see it was "Mom" calling, but still. Something about that just seemed strange to me.

I definitely thought that was a little off.
I'm so weird with stuff like that, that I'll freak out in movies and be like "OMG YOU'RE LEAVING PRINTS/EPITHELIALS/ETC" or "WHY ARE YOU TOUCHING THAT WITHOUT A GLOVE??????"

But, I did almost like that he saw that it said "Mom", so he thought it was necessary to pick it up.. I guess the writers were trying to show us that Hodges isn't a heartless bastard after all.. lol
