fuesch: (GSR & Snickers)

If you're not only a fan of CSI but also of Heroes you've probably noticed some similarities. It started with the character of Niki Sanders, who seems to have been created by a CSI fan - because there are just too many CSI-ish things:
- Niki is the female version of the name Nick
- Sanders, just like Greg's last name (Could the creator be a The Love Shipper?)
- she lives in Las Vegas
- is a Stripper, like Cath was
- is a single mom
- her kid goes to private school
- she has a rich dad
- who has killed someone
- and she doesn't get along with him very well

In my reviews (they're in German, but if you want to read them, you can find them here) I constantly mention things that remind my of CSI. Some things aren't that spectacular (like: "Whoa, that guy totally reminds me of that psycho Nigel Crane"...which became a bit more interesting when I recognized the actor and knew that guy is Sylar - the psycho of Heroes)

1x09 (I think): Mohinder opened the list of heroes that his father found. I read the list and guess who was on it? David Berman. By that time I thought it was a funny coincidence. Hehe, gives the nickname SuperDave a new meaning. Then in Episode 1x10 there was Sylar's first victim's adress: Berman Street. I found it a bit strange that this name surfaced again...too much for a coincidence. Because it wasn't: Sylar's first victim turns out to be played by David Berman. I LOLed and ROFLed and squeed. OMG, yay! SuperDave!!!!1!!one!!!!1!
Now that's definitely the coolest bit of Heroes/CSI comparison I ever could put in a review!

I followed the evidence and it told me that there must be a connection between these shows. Is Tim Kring friends with David Berman or something??
