nicknames?

We only watch CSI vegas in my household. I'm a newlywed, so in reality my "household" consists of the husband and I and our best friends (another couple) who are over our place at least once, but often twice a week. Usually while we game, or sew, or cook, or whatever the heck else we're doing, we usually also have csi running in the background. I've watched all seven seasons twice each myself... once for the first time, and then the second time was to catch them up on the story, as they had come in for the miniature stuff, and were lost on all the other threads going on.

ANYWAY, my main topic here is... obviously we've formed a bond with the characters, and have little pet names or specific feelings toward them. For example...

- We EVER-SO-LOVINGLY call Nicky the "Crying Boy" because -usually- all of the worst stuff happens to him (including head and facial hair failures), and he cries often.

- We refer to Catherine as Marg (except pronouncing it MAR-guh)... we usually announce "come now marg" or "way to go marg" when she walks in on a crime scene sporting a tank top instead of the proper csi attire. Speaking of her, we're Cathrine/Warrick-shippers... if that's the correct term for it, lol.

- We call Grissom "Gurrrrrisome" with a rolled R and a french sounding end. Sometimes, coming up on a Grissom scene where this would be appropriately humorous we announce dramatically "Don't breathe this!" or "...BUT, will it blend?" because we all think he sounds like the "Will It Blend?" guy he REALLY does! Same voice!

- Lastly, we like to watch for Sara's signature "lip pout" whenever she says something telling or clever to Grissom.
