Mod post regarding hotlinking of icons

A member of this community has brought to our attention the fact that hotlinking is happening within this community and others. We do not tolerate this, especially when 99% of icon makers specifically ask that you do not hotlink. If you need a free host for your images, the mods highly recommend Photobucket.com or imageshack.com, but there are certainly others besides those two.

Any member of this community discovered hotlinking will be immediately banned.

This will be the one and only warning regarding this issue. Also, if you think that your images are being hotlinked, please contact the mods immediately so that we can (try to help) resolve the issue. Thank you.

ETA: The link above seems to work for some and not for others, so under the LJ cut is the definition of hotlinking and ways to make sure you aren't doing so.
