Obligatory first post.

I always feel weird with my first post in communities, but here goes, right? :)

"CSI:" is one of my favorite TV shows, but I didn't get into it until last year (and I can't believe that I went so long without it!). :) I was totally excited when SpikeTV started showing two episodes each night, which was awesome when they started with that weeklong marathon in September (my TV stayed on Spike for that entire week!).

I realized recently what a great cast they have. Even of the random supporting characters, like Hodges, there's no one that I hate or that I wished would leave the show. The actors have great chemistry (no pun intended) together and all the characters are awesome.

Greg, Sara, and Nick are my favorites, but like I said, I really like all of them.

I'm assuming that (unless I missed an episode) TONIGHT's episode should be the first time we see the CSIs in their new shift changes and stuff... right?! Soemone let me know if I've missed one.

This entire break I've done nothing but watch seasons 1-4 (omg, i'm such a loser) so I'm kind of confused ... I need to shift my mind back to what's happening in the current season!!

Will sound lame to some, but is terrible exciting for me!

I just figured it out that our dearly departed 'Speed' (CSI: Miami) was played by Rory Cochrane, who was Lucas in one of my all-time favorite movies, Empire Records.

Hey everyone!

Okay..I'm going to try and make this as interesting of a newbie post as I can...so here we go ;)

I never was much for the Prime Time detective/cop/murder investigation shows. The closest I ever came to being a fan of one of these shows was when I was in elementary school and would stay up at night to watch "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" with my Mom and Dad (which is kind of fitting given tonight's episode..but anywho..)...

In September I was hospitalized for about two months: and considering there was a TV set, comfy couches, and nothing to do on weeknights, watching Prime Time TV was a sacred event. One day, a patient came in who was totally obsessed with CSI... so I gave it a chance when she turned it on: and haven't been able to turn it off since.

I watch the SpikeTV reruns at 7pm and 8pm every weeknight, and all three CSI's on their respective nights. The original will always be my favorite, though, because of the character chemistry.

So anywho..I found this TV listing online and wanted to share it. Please forgive me if it's repeated news. I didn't check too far back in the postings:

Jan 13-16 - "Hollywood Heat - Las Vegas Special" on COURT TV
(Las Vegas is spotlighted. Included: a tour of the "CSI" set; an interview with the creator of the NBC series "Las Vegas"; and a visit to the Palms Casino Resort).
Airs 1/13 at 11pm, 1/14 at 3am and 6pm, 1/15 at 11pm, and 1/16 at 6pm.

Tonight's Episode (non-spoilery in any way, I would think)...
Where was Sofia? Isn't she supposed to be on Grissom's team now? Or did I miss something? Was this just a case of the writers going "X isn't in this episode for no good reason", like we've seen with Warrick and a few others in the past, or what? Did I blink and miss her?

We didn't see Mia in this episode, either, did we? Or maybe I just blinked a lot...
