just wondering...

i was talking to all my friends who watch csi, and i was reading the comment thread from the last post by
eroticneurotic and i was just wondering...
what makes you like csi?
everyone seems to have different reasons why they think it's a good show.
for me, i think that there's an excellent balance of character and plot. i probably would not watch it if there was any extra stress on the characters. there is just enough information to make me care about the characters, but not so much melodrama that it makes me sick. and the cases, you have to admit, are usually interesting and most of the time somewhat believeable [give me ambiguity or give me something else, eh?], even if the science they use to solve the crimes is not entirely possible in most forensics labs.
and, of course, there's greggo. he keeps me watching every week. :)
so what are your reasons?
