You go to a movie (Mystic River) and not only do you notice that there is a magazine in the background of one of the scenes that has CSI on it (and wish you had it), but you and your friends giggle when they do anything in the movie that is remotely like things done on CSI. Also, you realize how different lab equipment looks with the lights on . . .
