While watching CSI tonight, a question suddenly emerged. There are the CSI's, trying to solve murders, yet they seem to know something about everything, i.e., Sara knowing how to take a car apart and know what's working and what isn't working. Is this all part of the training of a CSI or is this something they pick up on the job as they go along?

Does anyone know?
